Nokia N900 - die eierlegende Wollmilchsau

Lieber Leser,

ich möchte hier nicht zu einem Phone-Blog werden, das wird auch nicht passieren.
Dennoch möchte ich heute mal eine Ausnahme machen, und zwar für das Nokia N900.

Als ein ehemaliger guter Freund mir dieses Telefon empfahl traute ich meinen Augen nicht.
Ein Smartphone basierend auf Debian-Linux, mit angepassten Komponenten für den idealen Einsatz als Telefon.

Auf dem ersten Blick sieht man schon dass es sich hier um ein Powergerät handelt.

Da Maemo auf Debian basiert, können also theoretisch gesehen alle Debian-Applikationen genutzt werden. Darunter gängige Programme wie Firefox, Aircrack-ng, Kismet, viele Programme von Backtrack, Thunderbird und viele, viele andere.

Unter anderen gibt es schon eine VMware unterstützung, so dass es schon Kunden gibt die ihr Windows 3.11 auf Nokia's Smartphone installiert haben.


Für frische 599€ kann man sich dieses vorbestellen lassen. Die ersten Geräte wurden zwar schon ausgeliefert, der Status wurde aber wieder auf "vorbestellen" geändert da der Ansturm zu groß war und Nokia nicht mit der Herstellung hinterher kam. So passierte es dass auch keien Kapazitäten mehr für Nokia Shops vorhanden waren. Bedeutet: Einige Kunden haben schon ein N900, sämtliche Nokia Shops jedoch nicht. ;-)



Wer also seinen Einkommstensteuernachweis noch nicht verplant hat, hat hier auf jeden Fall eine gute Investition gefunden.

Ich weiß zumindest was ich möchte und ich hoffe euch dieses Smartphone ein wenig schmackhafter gemacht zu haben. ;o)
